BTC is now at $81,457, down 2.88% in the past 24 hours. If Bitcoin’s doing this badly, the small caps are an absolute bloodbath.

First, $WAL is up 50.42% in 24 hours, trading at $0.06038 with a volume of 48.6 million. That’s a massive jump, but the problem is I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find any positive news. It’s a classic case of market makers pumping the price to lure retail traders into buying.

Now for the ones that have crashed: $NFP is down 65%—this isn’t a pullback, it’s a panic sell-off. PYR is down 57%, VIC 43%; they’re practically competing to see who can fall faster. That’s what small caps are like when the broader market pulls back: there’s no floor in sight.

My take: chasing a pump like $WAL with no news behind it is just asking to get wrecked. And don’t try to catch the falling knives either—you might think you’re buying the bottom, but you could just be halfway down.

The key now is whether Bitcoin can hold $81,500. My stop-loss is set at $80,000. If it breaks below that, I’m out. I’m not sticking around for this.

Do you think you can trust a pump with no positive news behind it?
