The broader market is grinding, while WAL is running solo. Chase it, and I might get stuck buying the top; sit out, and this could be the only meat on the table today. I’m chasing.
At midday, I’m only watching $WAL. It’s up nearly 50% on the leaderboard, with 47.6 million in volume, while everyone else is just watching. NIL is up a tiny bit, with 11.9 million in volume—a follower. AVA, EUR, and U are flat. Nearly 4 billion in USDC is turnover, not sentiment. The current price is 0.0602; it hasn’t reclaimed the 1-hour high of 0.0679. Over 4 hours, it ran from 0.034 to 0.0679, nearly doubling at the wick’s peak, and even after pulling back it’s still near the upper end. The weekly high is 0.1037 and the low is 0.02; the current price is stuck in the middle, with room above—and bagholders too. A solo runner in a choppy market; don’t imagine a broad rally.
If it breaks below 0.0405, the leading narrative is invalidated; anyone who went all-in is on their own. If 0.034 breaks, I’m not buying this 4-hour move either. To call it a breakout, it first needs to push above 0.0679. I’m going all-in on this midday trade and betting on the direction—if it breaks down, I’ll be out faster than anyone.
