Jito’s protocol revenue surged to $86,000 (24h), about 3.3 times its usual level. Holders of $JTO may ask: What does this mean for the token?
In my view, valuation is anchored to long-term revenue, and a one-day peak shouldn’t be annualized. It can support the valuation only if elevated levels are sustained for a while. Also, how protocol revenue flows back to token holders—through buybacks, staking distributions, or the treasury—determines its value to the token.
