I just took a look at the data, and there’s something going on.
I’ve been watching $WAL . It’s up 52% in 24 hours, with $48 million in trading volume. Retail traders couldn’t generate that kind of volume. I looked around and didn’t see any major positive news, and there’s no credible buzz about it on X either. Either something leaked early, or the whales are just pumping it for their own amusement.
There’s a huge difference between a low-volume pump and one backed by volume. I’ve seen plenty of coins rise 50% on low volume, only to plunge the next day and leave people holding the bag. But with $WAL , that 52% gain alongside this trading volume makes it look like real money might be coming in to push it higher.
Should you chase it? Experienced traders don’t chase moves like this. They wait for it to pull back below 0.045 before considering an entry. I’ve seen too many people get burned chasing the top.
As for $NFP, it’s crashed 65%. A drop like that isn’t a pullback—it’s getting cut in half, then cut in half again. I don’t know whether the team is dumping or some bad news came out, but don’t think about buying the dip on this coin anytime soon.
BTC is at 81000 right now, and funding rates are negative, which means bears still have the upper hand. They’re still pushing the market down, but they haven’t managed to break it either. The market is weak overall, so don’t make any rash moves—save your ammo.
Anyone watching WAL? Is this move news-driven, or are the whales pumping it?
