Key takeaways
Stock options on Binance are now live, offering physically settled contracts on selected U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs.
Stock options trading on Binance charges a commission of $0.60 per contract, with clear and transparent pricing: no minimum fee, no platform fee, and no spread when converting between USDC and USD.
Stock Options are funded and traded directly from your Funding Wallet, making it easy to manage your entire portfolio of crypto, stocks, and commodities in one place.

Over the past year, Binance has been steadily building a new experience where users can trade all assets across its financial product ecosystem. Last month, we launched commodity options for Gold (XAUUSDT) and Silver (XAGUSDT).
Today, we’re taking another major step in expanding our TradFi product suite by launching options contracts on more than 1,000 selected U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs, with more assets to be added in the future.
With a single Binance account, you can now trade a wide range of crypto, stocks, and commodities across Spot, Convert, Futures, and Options.
Contracts settled in physical shares
Stock Options on Binance are settled in physical shares rather than cash. These are actual shares held in custody by Alpaca on behalf of Binance users. For example, if you exercise a call option, the underlying U.S.-listed shares will be transferred to your account. If you exercise a put option, you will deliver those shares.
$0.60 per contract
At Binance, we’re always working to make financial products as accessible and inclusive as possible. Stock Options are priced with this commitment in mind: a $0.60 commission per contract, no platform fees, no minimum fees, and exercise fees covered by Binance.
We also want to emphasize that there are no hidden costs. Other platforms may include a spread when converting between USDC and USD to trade Stock Options, while Binance covers this cost for you at the time of the trade.

How to fund and trade Stock Options on Binance
For a seamless experience, Stock Options are funded and traded from your Funding Wallet—the same wallet you already use to trade crypto on Binance. You don’t need to set up a separate wallet or make an additional transfer before placing an order. Trade all assets, whether crypto or Stock Options, in the same app.
Supported quote currencies include BNB, USDT, USDC, U, and USD1. Balances in local fiat currencies will be converted at the time of the trade. Stock Options on Binance follow U.S. trading hours, so keep this in mind when planning your trades. Most U.S. Stock Options can be traded from 09:30 to 16:00 ET, while some ETF/ETN options trade until 16:15 ET.
How to place your first Stock Options order in 5 steps

Open the stock chart view. Search for a U.S.-listed stock or ETF in the Binance app, such as NVDA, then open its stock page and tap the candlestick icon.
Tap the Options tab. If the stock supports options trading, the Options tab will appear in the chart view. If you don’t see this tab, options aren’t available for that stock.
Enable options access. The first time you open Options, complete the Options Appropriateness Test and sign the disclaimer. If you haven’t enabled stock trading, you can enable Stocks and Stock Options together in one step.
Choose a contract. Select a call or put, then choose an expiration date and strike price from the options chain.
Place a limit order. Enter the limit price and number of contracts, then tap [Buy]. Stock options currently support limit orders only, so your order will be filled only when the market reaches your set price.
A new era of financial freedom
By bringing stock options to the same platform where users already trade crypto and commodities, we’re breaking down the barriers that have long kept these markets separate. Beyond options, every trading product you need is just a tap away, including Spot, Convert, and Futures.
Summary
Stock options are now live on Binance and ready for you to explore. For now, the product supports buying long calls and long puts. We plan to launch options writing and short positions in the future. This gives users a chance to become familiar with options trading before moving on to more complex strategies.
With long calls and long puts, your risk is clearly defined before you tap Buy. The maximum amount you can lose on a trade is limited to the options premium you paid.

Stock Options are contracts that give you the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell the underlying Securities at a specified price on or before a specified expiration date. You pay an Options Premium for this right. Stock Options do not represent ownership of the underlying Securities. You may exercise Stock Options at any time before the applicable expiration cut-off. You are solely responsible for monitoring your open Stock Options positions and deciding whether to exercise them. To exercise Stock Options, you must submit an exercise instruction through the Binance Platform. If you do not submit an exercise instruction before the cut-off, your Stock Options will be subject to an automatic liquidation mechanism, meaning the position will be sold on a best-efforts basis before the end of the trading session. Your Stock Options may expire worthless, and you may lose the entire Options Premium paid. Even if your Stock Options are In-the-Money at expiration, they will not be automatically exercised unless you have submitted an exercise instruction.
Stock Options are subject to significant market and liquidity risks, as well as price volatility. The value of your investment may rise or fall, and you may not get back the amount you invested. Stock Options are traded only during regular trading hours. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions, and Binance is not responsible for any losses you may incur. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Before trading, you should independently assess whether trading is appropriate for you in light of your objectives and circumstances, including the potential risks and benefits. You should not trade Stock Options unless you fully understand the nature of the product, including how to exercise options, the risks of automatic liquidation, and the consequences of not taking action before the relevant deadline.
