One of the biggest buyers in the ETH market may soon disappear.

Without much fanfare, Tom Lee and Bitmine have kept buying and now hold a total of 6,028,946 $ETH , or about 4.9% of Ethereum’s total supply.

They’re now only about 100,000 ETH away from their previously set target of holding 5%.

At their current pace of accumulating around 12,500 ETH per week, they could reach this target in about two months.

Bitmine has been one of the most important institutional buyers in the ETH market, consistently providing additional demand.

Once the 5% target is reached, if Bitmine stops accumulating ETH on a large scale, the ETH market will lose a very important and steady source of marginal demand.
