$PYTH Market Analysis
Current price: 0.08703 USDT, up 8.98% over 24 hours and near the day's high. The 24-hour high was 0.0879 and the low was 0.0785, with approximately $11.35 million in 24-hour trading volume as volatility increased.

1. On October 8, Pyth DAO passed the OP-PIP-136 “100% Rule” proposal: all revenue the DAO earns from Pyth products will be used monthly to buy back PYTH on the open market. Previously, only one-third of non-PYTH balances was used, and a vote was required each month. The first buyback under the new rules was carried out on September 30, and treasury reserves stand at approximately 41 million PYTH.
2. Third-quarter annualized recurring revenue reached $11.49 million, up 86.5% quarter over quarter, while the number of paying accounts rose to 276 (Pyth Pro: $9.68 million + Pyth Indices: $1.81 million). Growth was driven mainly by demand for RWA perpetual contracts. Pyth is an external distributor of Nasdaq Basic and accounts for 95% of the tracked RWA perpetual trading volume.
3. After the news was announced, PYTH briefly led the top 100 tokens, gaining approximately 15% on October 12, confirming sustained buying demand.

Revenue is showing real growth rather than hype based on expectations, and the buyback rules turn all product revenue into verifiable on-chain buying demand. Stable paid demand in the RWA data sector provides fundamental support for the price.

Bitbase reminder: ARR is an annualized figure, not realized cash flow. The scale of future buybacks depends on whether revenue can sustain its rapid growth. Technically, 0.088–0.090 is a dense resistance zone (around last week's high), so chasing the price in the short term carries a risk of a pullback.

In the short term, watch whether the price can hold firmly above 0.0887. If it does, the next target is the round-number level of 0.1000; if support at 0.0764 fails, the price could retest the area around 0.067. The combination of buybacks and revenue growth is bullish over the medium term, but monthly buyback execution and whether Q4 revenue continues the momentum need to be monitored. Strategy: Consider scaling in on a pullback to the support zone, and set a stop-loss when chasing a breakout.
