$ZEREBRO A -17% hourly candle slammed down, leaving the “real breakout” from my last post with only 4% of its life left

$ZEREBRO This one doesn’t look good to me. The 08:00 hourly candle plunged from $0.049 to $0.040, down 17%, and closed at the low with no lower wick at all. This isn’t a shakeout—it’s clear-cut profit-taking after yesterday’s +68% move.

In my last post, when I called it a “real breakout,” I set invalidation at an hourly close below $0.038. The price is now $0.0397, just 4% above that level. To put it plainly, that bullish thesis is already mostly hanging by a thread, held up entirely by $0.038.

The derivatives data doesn’t support the bulls either: funding is neutral, shorts aren’t crowded and neither are longs—it’s simply spot and futures positions being sold off together. I can’t find the long/short ratio, so I won’t make one up. $119M in derivatives volume on a token with a $46M market cap is an outrageous turnover rate—and that kind of turnover paired with this kind of sell-off strongly smells like distribution.

I’m watching for just two scenarios: a bounce back to $0.042–0.044 would be a window to reduce exposure, not a reason to call the bottom; if an hourly candle closes below $0.038, my previous thesis is invalidated outright, and there’s no point sticking around.

There’s only one thing that would make me change my tune: reclaiming $0.0453 and holding above it. Only then would the bulls be back in the game.
