Just sharing a quick thought: when I first got into this space, I loved chasing hot-topic plays. As soon as something hit the trending searches, I’d jump in. It took me a while to realize that by the time I saw it trending, the early movers had mostly already pulled out.
Today I saw “U.S. CPI comes in above expectations, casting a shadow over global stock markets” again. The related ticker is $BTC (U.S. economic data), down 1.85% over 24h. These days, I just make a note of it and wait for confirmation from trading volume.
