Meme market: who moves first, leaders or small caps?

I only pay attention to memes when there’s independent buying; otherwise, I treat them as volatility.

I gauge sentiment by percentage gains and losses, not group-chat buzz.

SHIB 0.00000508 (-2.68%), DOGE 0.0818 (-3.55%), WIF 0.2017 (-3.91%), BONK 0.00000312 (-4.00%)

For comparison: BTC 81718 (24h -2.05%).

Even leader SHIB is only down -2.68%; the weakest, PEPE, is down -4.24%. Memes are bleeding. Talking about sentiment recovering is self-deception.

If the gap between the leader and the weakest coin narrows to within 2 percentage points, independent buying has disappeared—close the position.

Would you dare to add to your position at this funding rate?

Useful insight: BNB Chain fees are low and there are lots of copycat traders; once liquidity pulls out, it’s just paper market cap.
Food for thought: The 10-year yield is rising: valuation stories take a back seat, and spot holdings are limited to pullback levels.
