$BTC reports $81,704, down 1.79% in 24 hours.
Sentiment has returned to neutral.
Bearish pressure is coming from three directions at once:
U.S. tech stocks faced another sell-off, with the Nasdaq closing down nearly 2%.
Analyst Schenker changed his tune: the Fed may raise rates by 50 basis points in December, far more than the market expects.
And although the U.S. Dollar Index has given back its gains, 102 is still a lofty level.
The $82,000 level has been breached.
Next up: can $81,000 hold?
If it doesn't, Bitcoin could slip back into the $79,000 pit and grind away.
Bitcoin, Solana, and Ethereum have all been dragged down, and altcoins are faring even worse.
Inflation data came in hotter than expected, cooling speculative trading.
