A few signals to watch before meme coins gain momentum

I only pay attention to meme coins when they have independent buying pressure; otherwise, I treat it as volatility.

For meme coins, first check whether the leaders have volume, then see whether smaller coins dare to follow.

SHIB 0.00000508 (-2.31%), WIF 0.2028 (-2.55%), PEPE 0.00000408 (-3.09%), DOGE 0.0819 (-3.25%)

For comparison: BTC 81644 (24h -2.22%).

Even leading coin SHIB is only down -2.31%; the weakest, BONK, is down -3.70%. Meme coins are bleeding. Talking about sentiment recovering is self-deception.

BTC is still at 81644 (-2.22%). Unless BTC gets above 82,297, I consider any meme-coin move to the upside noise.

BTC is the switch for meme coins: unless it gets above 84147, I don't consider gains in smaller coins a sector-wide move.

Useful info: Market cap = price × circulating supply. Treating fully locked tokens as market depth can be costly.
Insight: If holdings are falling while price is flat, reducing your position isn't accumulation—the market hasn't paid for a direction yet.
