🚨BREAKING: HEX founder detained!

According to Turkish media (Daily Sabah, citing IHA/DHA), early on October 14, Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT), together with Istanbul police, raided a residence in the Beşiktaş district and took away Richard Heart (born Richard James Schueler), founder of HEX and PulseChain.

Here’s why they reportedly moved in: He has been on an Interpol Red Notice since December 2024, requested by Finnish police over allegations of serious tax issues from 2020 to 2024. Two things to be clear about: ① These are just “allegations”—he has not been convicted; ② Neither Turkish nor Finnish authorities have publicly confirmed the news yet. So far, it’s only been reported by Turkish media.

Interestingly, he had actually cleared the U.S. SEC hurdle—the SEC sued him in 2023 over raising more than $1 billion for HEX/PulseChain/PulseX, but a judge dismissed the case on February 28, 2025, and the SEC said in April it would not amend its complaint. He beat the SEC, only to get tripped up by Finnish taxes. What a plot twist.

Even Turkish media can’t agree on the raid’s haul: IHA’s version says around $600,000 in cash plus 24 watches; another version says $4 million in cash plus 64 watches (including 53 Rolexes and 11 Patek Philippes), along with gold jewelry, firearms, and drones. Whatever the actual tally, the “watch guy” nickname is now firmly established ⌚

The market reaction is the most honest: $HEX on Ethereum is trading at around $0.00069, down 23.43% over 24 hours (live CoinDesk data); $PLS also plunged.

Is this the end of the bad news, or the start of more trouble? Do you think $HEX is a buying opportunity created by panic selling, or the opening act of a chain of disasters? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇
