Apple is preparing to launch its first Apple Intelligence features in China in December through iOS 27.3, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. The plan comes after years of delays due to the Chinese government’s approval process.

The rollout is expected to include only features first introduced in 2024. The new iOS 27 AI features already available in the U.S. and other regions, as well as Siri AI, are not part of this rollout.

Gurman says Apple executives are not optimistic about the chances of Siri AI launching in China anytime soon. However, he believes an upgraded version of Apple Intelligence will eventually be brought to the market.
