🏦 It's happening! Global banking giant Standard Chartered is personally getting into “selling crypto”!
Buying crypto used to mean: register with an exchange → deposit money → transfer funds → write down your seed phrase. The whole process put countless people off.
Now Standard Chartered says: open the banking app and tap once.
On October 14, Standard Chartered officially announced:
✅ Wealthy clients in the UAE can buy and sell $BTC $ETH directly through their bank accounts
✅ Wallets, custody, and settlement are all handled within the bank, so you don't have to worry about private keys
✅ Licensed by Dubai's VARA and fully compliant
✅ The first globally systemically important bank to take the plunge—and the first international banking giant in the UAE
In other words: the big banks aren't just “watching” anymore. They're jumping in to become crypto dealers themselves.
Fees are clearly stated, too: spreads of up to 2%, with no funny business.
At the time of writing, $BTC 81,772 USD, $ETH 2,429 USD.
Now that even banks have made buying crypto a “one-tap order,”
which major bank do you think will follow next?
