Midnight’s Roadmap for Q4 2026 and Q1 2027 Is Here 🌙
Midnight's newly announced roadmap lays out what's next across Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.
Seven areas of development. One expanding network.
Here's what's next:
→ Institutional finance: Tokenized deposits, shielded assets and RWA infrastructure.
→ Confidential DeFi: Private lending, private swaps and NightMode.
→ Digital identity: Passport, verified credentials and selective disclosure tools.
→ Scale and sovereignty: NIGHT staking, community block production and network improvements.
→ Cross-chain growth: Expanded connectivity, mobile SDKs and AI developer tools.
→ Starstream: Application logic designed to work across different blockchain environments.
→ Nightstream: Post-quantum zero-knowledge proving infrastructure, with improvements to proof generation time and size.
From financial applications to developer tools and decentralization, Midnight's roadmap covers much more than a single use case.
The next two quarters outline how those capabilities are planned to take shape.
