🚀 Major Updates for AVA Coin ($AVA) in September 2026
The AVA Foundation, in collaboration with Travala, announced positive developments, including buybacks and increased lock-up requirements:
🔹 Doubling Buybacks:
Travala decided to double its monthly purchases of $AVA on the open market for the strategic reserve, with a full commitment never to sell or transfer them. More than 457,000 AVA tokens have been purchased recently.
🔹 Reducing the Circulating Supply (Supply Lock):
Starting November 1, the lock-up requirements for $AVA for Smart Memberships will be doubled, with the goal of locking up 30% of the total future supply (17.5% of the circulating supply is currently locked).
🔹 New Listings:
The AVA/KRW spot trading pair has been listed on Bithumb, and futures contracts have been listed on Aster DEX.
📈 Expected Impact on $AVA:
Bullish in the medium and long term: doubling open-market purchases and lock-up amounts will reduce the supply available for sale (Supply Squeeze), supporting price increases as demand grows.
Increased liquidity and interest: the Bithumb listing will boost Korean liquidity flows into the coin.
