I was just talking with a friend about this: USDC has become the first significant e-money token under MiCA, and the related prudential supervisory responsibilities will be transferred to the EBA in November 2026.
They asked what I thought, and I said: Once the regulations are set, it’ll take a while to see how everyone adjusts.
I’ve looked into it a bit, so I’m noting it down for now.
