$BTC Sentiment reference: Fear & Greed Index 62 (Greed), up 5 from yesterday.
I used to think the Fear & Greed Index was based on surveys. Later, I realized it’s mainly calculated using several types of market data, including price volatility, market momentum and trading volume, social media buzz, Bitcoin’s share of the market cap, search trends, and so on. Surveys aren’t a major factor.
Comparing multiple indicators is more reliable than looking at just one, but even more indicators can’t provide a definitive answer.
