I was wrong on this BAT trade. This morning, at 0.200, I said I was leaning bullish. I said I’d be wrong if it broke below 0.177—and it just hit 0.174.

The funding rate had given us a signal early on: it settled at -0.35% at 8 a.m., was -0.13% this afternoon, and is now down to just -0.06%. Shorts have mostly closed, and with the fuel burned up, there’s naturally not much left to drive it higher. I was slow to see it.

My simulated account’s 300U long was stopped out at 0.177, for a 24U loss. Account equity: 976U. It’s hard to accept, but rules are rules.

Follow along and see if I can make that 24U back the day after tomorrow.
