Crypto | Quiet Accumulation Night Shift | October 14
I finished scanning the market at 9:38 p.m. The whole market was green (BTC, ETH, and SOL were all falling), but there were still 10 coins on the quiet accumulation list seeing a surge in volume. The highest volume ratio shot up to 38x. Here are a few that caught my eye tonight:
【Quiet Accumulation: Volume Ratio Leaders】
* FLOCK: 38.8x volume ratio, the strongest by far. A Base ecosystem meme coin that’s been on the list for several nights in a row.
* MANTRA: 20.5x volume ratio. An old hand in the RWA space, with a strong possibility of institutional activity.
* ASML: 7.4x volume ratio. Shares its name with the lithography giant; money is playing the old-economy concept.
* ONE: 3.9x volume ratio. Signs of a revival for the old Harmony coin.
* AERGO: 3.8x volume ratio. A low-level volume pickup for a Korean public blockchain.
Coins sharing names with U.S. stocks, like BABA and GOOGL, made the list too. They’re just riding the attention, so there’s a lot of noise—don’t follow them.
【Watchlist: Slow Climbers】
* TIA is up 30.2% over 7 days, but its funding rate is relatively high at 0.004%, making longs expensive.
* SUI is up 46.1% over 7 days, with a funding rate of -0.0004% (shorts pay, which favors longs).
* BAT is up 112.7% over 7 days, with a funding rate of -0.12% (clearly negative, with shorts getting squeezed).
* AERO is up 10% over 7 days. The Base leader is climbing slowly and steadily.
【My Take】
The real players are the ones still accumulating on rising volume during a market pullback. I’ll take a small position in FLOCK for fun, but a 38x volume ratio could also mean selling, so keep a close eye on the charts. BAT’s negative funding rate and slow climb make it tonight’s strongest setup: shorts pay longs, and retail traders are moving in the same direction as institutions. TIA has already risen a lot, but its funding rate is a turnoff. No harm in waiting for a pullback before taking another look.
