Sui's Basecamp conference brought several developments that could support adoption, including Samsung Wallet integration, a Google Cloud project and a reported speed record. According to NS3.AI, Samsung Wallet is integrating USDC transfers over Sui on 82 million US Galaxy devices, with no network fees or need to buy SUI first.

Mysten Labs and Google Cloud are also developing Verifiable Agent Arbiter, a project designed to prove whether AI agents followed instructions. Sui said it reached 40.6 million transactions per second in a live stress test, although the figure measured activity inside offchain tunnels rather than transactions directly executed on mainnet.

The key question heading into 2027 is whether these initiatives translate into measurable network usage and stronger demand for SUI.
