October 14 Evening Market Recap | A pullback after a rally doesn't mean the trend is settled
As of 21:30 Beijing time, Binance BTC/USDT was at 82,714, down 0.91% over the rolling 24 hours; ETH was at 2,474.98, down 1.45%, and SOL was at 105.63, down 1.23%.
From 00:00 Beijing time today to the time of data collection, BTC reached a high of 84,146.72 and a low of 82,364.49. The 20:00 hourly candle fell from 83,465.94 to 82,743.75, making the evening selling pressure worth watching. The day is not over yet, so this snapshot should not be treated as the full-day close.
My view: These three major coins are weakening in tandem, which does not yet support claiming that altcoins are broadly rallying; price alone also cannot establish that institutions are exiting. Next, watch whether the lows hold and whether any rebound lasts. Avoid drawing conclusions about the trend from a single candlestick.
