$BTC 4-hour MACD forms a death cross below the zero line.
Guys, how do you read MACD golden crosses and death crosses? Here’s the gist in a nutshell 👇
The zero line is where DIF = 0, meaning the 12-period EMA and 26-period EMA are equal. When DIF is above the zero line, the short-term moving average is above the long-term one.
MACD calculations vary slightly between charting tools. An intraday crossover can disappear by the close, so crossovers confirmed after the candle closes are more reliable.
The point of understanding this indicator is to avoid being misled by the numbers—not to use it to pinpoint tops and bottoms.
