Chainalysis found that remittance-sized crypto transfers from Canada to India, China and the Philippines rose 141% year-over-year to $2.36 billion. According to NS3.AI, the transfers totaled 3.56 million transactions in the 12 months ending June 2026, with an average value of $663 per transaction.

Chainalysis head of research Eric Jardine said Canada-to-Philippines crypto remittances reached $61.02 million, up 28%. The analysis covered Bitcoin and stablecoin transfers above $10,000 to and from personal wallets, and noted that low blockchain settlement fees do not include currency conversion and cash-out costs.
