Binance futures liquidations totaled $12.85 million over the past 4 hours: $7.29 million in long positions (56.7%) and $5.57 million in short positions.
After liquidations, I usually look at three things:
① Which side got hit harder: both longs and shorts did, so it was a washout on both sides;
② The largest liquidation was $BTC ($3.96 million), and the price swings afterward are often the biggest;
③ Did open interest also decline? If it did, that means leverage was genuinely flushed out. If it barely declined, more leveraged positions may be entering.
Don't let a single trade determine the fate of your entire account.
