RLC rose nearly 50% in one day, but looking only at the spot price increase makes it easy to mistake the funding rate for the contract premium.

When checking for anomalies, I make sure to compare at least four sets of data:

1. The latest spot price
2. The perpetual mark price and index price
3. The funding rate and the time of the next settlement
4. Whether trading volume and liquidity have increased in tandem

If you look at just one price field, an anomaly report can easily reach the wrong conclusion. The chart shows real RLCUSDT market data, displaying only the price path and data definitions; it is not investment advice.

When prices surge or plunge, do you check spot, contracts, or the funding rate first?
