① Chains based on Tendermint (CometBFT) consensus, such as Cosmos Hub, have finality as soon as a block is committed, so there’s no need to wait for subsequent blocks.
② Ethereum blocks generally reach the “finalized” state after two epochs (about 12.8 minutes).
③ When depositing to or withdrawing from different chains, confirmation times vary from chain to chain. A slow arrival doesn’t necessarily mean something has gone wrong.
