Wintermute didn’t say “don’t buy alts.” It said: don’t buy low-quality alts just for a bounce. The feed has already lost those two caveats.

Wintermute’s outlook is this: capital has left crypto and will return when US long-term yields settle down and money flows into spot ETFs. Over the long term — bullish.

On October 13, Ki Young Ju of CryptoQuant said: “Bitcoin's bear cycle is over,” followed by 12–24 months of growth or sideways action.

Basically, neither is bearish; they just differ on timing.

A forecast without a threshold is just a mood to me. Wintermute has thresholds, and those are what I’m watching:
US 30-year yields above 5.64%. On October 14, they were at 5.56% — right on the edge.
$BTC
, which keeps failing to hold above $82500

ETFs aren’t saving us for now: -$679 million over the week, +$175.62 million on October 13.

I don’t have any bitcoin right now, $BNB holding, parking my stablecoins in Simple Earn Flexible.

If any threshold breaks, I’ll break down here who got it right; follow so you don’t miss it.
