#strive斥资2.8亿美元增持3311枚btc
【Old Leek Watch】Strive spends $280 million to buy 3,311 BTC as corporate hoarding continues
Amid volatility in the Bitcoin market, another publicly traded company has chosen to keep adding to its holdings.
Nasdaq-listed Strive disclosed that it bought 3,311 BTC between October 5 and 9, at an average cost of around $84,500 per coin, for a total investment of approximately $280 million. After completing the purchase, Strive’s Bitcoin holdings rose to 32,773 BTC, marking the company’s largest increase in holdings since January this year.
There are two notable aspects to this purchase.
First, Strive wasn’t just making a small, tentative investment—it significantly expanded its Bitcoin reserves on its balance sheet in the space of a week. The company’s continued accumulation of BTC shows that corporate treasury strategies remain an important source of market activity.
Second, companies and ordinary investors may have different reasons for buying Bitcoin. Companies may raise funds through stock offerings, preferred shares, or other financing instruments. So the number of coins purchased cannot simply be equated with new net buying pressure, nor is it enough to conclude that Bitcoin has reached a bottom.
