$DOGE Market Analysis
Current price: $0.0853; 24-hour change: +0.1%; 24-hour high: $0.08567; low: $0.08302; 24-hour trading volume: approximately $33.3 million. After falling about 9.5% cumulatively last week, the price has begun to stabilize and is now moving in a narrow range around $0.085.

① Today is the final trading day for Bitwise’s spot Dogecoin ETF (BWOW): the SEC has formally filed a Form 25 delisting notice, and the fund is expected to be liquidated and paid out in cash around October 22. Launched in November 2025, the product is ending its run in less than a year. As of October 7, its net assets were just about $726,000, cumulative net outflows exceeded $1.3 million, and trading volume for all of September was only about $50,000. At the Digital Asset Summit, Bitwise CEO Horsley called the failure a “tragedy,” acknowledging that traditional ETF buyers and crypto app users are entirely different groups: “ETF users just don’t want to put their money into Dogecoin.” ② Santiment data shows that during the pullback, some whales selectively bought the dip in the $0.084–$0.087 range, with buying activity providing support at lower levels.

The ETF’s holdings at liquidation amount to only about 8.2 million DOGE (worth less than $700,000), so the direct selling pressure on the spot market is almost negligible. The real signal is that demand for institutionally packaged DOGE products has been disproven, making it difficult to tell a new “institutional adoption” story in the short term. Technically, the price remains capped by the 50-day moving average (around $0.087) and the 200-day moving average (around $0.093). The RSI is about 45, the MACD remains below zero, and derivatives data shows mixed futures sentiment, leaning cautious.

Key short-term levels: $0.087–$0.088 is a dense EMA resistance zone; a decisive move above it on strong volume could open the way to $0.093. On the downside, $0.083–$0.084 is recent support; a break below it could expose $0.078 or even $0.070. With the ETF shutdown’s negative news officially priced in today, the market’s main focus shifts back to overall market sentiment and the strength of whale buying. The preferred strategy is range trading: watch for buying support near $0.083, and avoid chasing prices higher into the resistance zone.
