Standard Chartered has announced the launch of a cryptocurrency trading service for high-net-worth clients in the UAE, becoming the first international bank in the region to offer such a service. The service is licensed by the UAE’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. In its initial phase, it is available to professional investors and supports the direct purchase and sale of Bitcoin and Ethereum through existing accounts.
