Good morning, Asia markets. There’s a lot to unpack today.

Six ships were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz overnight, and an oil tanker caught fire. The IRGC threatened to sink U.S. warships, and the U.S. military fired back: “They don’t have a navy.” The more geopolitical tensions flare, the more oil and gold benefit from safe-haven premiums. $BTC barely dropped at all—I honestly didn’t expect it to be this resilient.

Things are even more interesting in Asia: South Korea’s Financial Services Commission has mapped out plans for tokenized stocks, bonds, and funds, with the first phase launching in February 2027. The Korea Securities Depository has selected $AVAX to build the infrastructure. This time, RWA isn’t just talk—the pipes are actually being laid.

On-chain data backs this up: Kamino’s tokenized stock supply has multiplied 15-fold in a year, growing from $3 million to $50 million. Canton processes over $300 billion in daily transfers, and Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas are both using it. Saylor is back saying $BTC is at the start of a bull market. Same old line, but this time the momentum really is different.

A reality check: Fed official Collins has made it clear that rates will need to rise again before the end of the year. Liquidity is still hanging in the balance, so don’t get carried away chasing prices higher.

My take: Geopolitics is short-term noise; RWA is one of the main themes of this cycle. A pullback would only make me more excited.
