๐ฅ XAUUSDT Trading Strategy | Part 2: Don't Chase the Breakout! ๐
Yesterday, I shared my approach to gold trading: follow the trend, identify support and resistance, and protect your capital.
Today, let's discuss a common trading mistake: entering too early during a breakout.
๐ My XAUUSDT Trading Plan
๐น 1. Identify the trend
Check the 1H and 4H charts. Higher highs and higher lows may indicate an uptrend, while lower highs and lower lows may indicate a downtrend.
๐น 2. Wait for confirmation
If gold breaks above resistance, don't rush to buy. Wait for a candle to close above the level and see whether the retest holds. Apply the same principle to a breakdown below support.
๐น 3. Plan entry and exit
Identify your entry, stop-loss and profit target before entering. If the potential reward doesn't justify the risk, skip the trade.
๐น 4. Control leverage
High leverage can magnify losses quickly. Protect your capital rather than trying to catch every market move.
๐ฏ My golden rule: Patience is a trading strategy. Missing a trade is better than forcing a bad entry.
๐ฌ Your turn!
For gold today, which setup would you prefer?
๐ A confirmed breakout and retest
๐ A confirmed breakdown and retest
โณ Waiting for a clearer signal
