【I’ve seen this kind of trading volume for AVAX】

On-chain data just flashed an unusual signal—the trading volume suddenly surged, exceeding 5% of its market cap. This is no joke.

I checked the price: $ 10.19. It’s down nearly 10% over the past 7 days, but still up 37% over the past 30 days. It’s getting hammered in the short term, but still running in the long term. This is what I call “momentum divergence”—short-term selling pressure clashing with the long-term trend.

But that’s not the main point.

The main point is that a spike in trading volume usually means someone is moving large sums in or out. Who is it? Are major players making a run for it, or is smart money quietly building positions?

Honestly, I don’t know. But I do know one thing—AVAX is down 93% from its ATH. What does that mean? Many of the coins that went to zero in 2017 fell about this much, too.

So, is AVAX going to zero as well?

I don’t think that’s necessarily the case.

Avalanche’s infrastructure, including Subnets and the C-chain, is still running, and its developer ecosystem hasn’t fallen apart. And have you noticed? BTC’s market dominance is now at 59.2%, with money flowing into BTC. When the broader market stabilizes, smart money looks for assets that haven’t gone up yet.

AVAX happens to be one of those assets.

But here’s the question: can it deliver?

If institutions really want to enter the market, they need compliant channels and liquidity. If AVAX’s compliance initiatives and the C-chain’s EVM compatibility can meet institutional needs, then a valuation recovery isn’t just a pipe dream. On the other hand, if it’s just retail investors trading among themselves, then this trading volume is a trap.

Honestly, seeing this signal made my fingers itch. But my 2021 muscle memory tells me: wait, take a closer look, and then decide.

What’s your mindset right now? Are you willing to take a chance on this AVAX rally?
