Ten stocks are propping up the entire U.S. market

Nomura crunched the numbers and even laughed at what it found: since March 30, ten stocks have gobbled up 70% of the S&P 500’s gains. Nvidia alone took 13%—that is, three percentage points. Micron, Apple, and Microsoft each took 9%, AMD 8%, and Google 7%. The remaining 490 stocks are fighting over the scraps in the other 30%.

Crypto copied that homework exactly: all the money is bottled up in the biggest names. BTC is sucking up liquidity, while altcoins get dumped every time they rebound. At these levels, a BTC rally is just an opportunity for crowded positions to cash out. In a zero-sum game with no fresh money coming in, every spike is bound to fade—and when prices pull back, altcoins fall almost three times faster than the broader market.

Does your account hold the fate of those ten stocks, or those 490? Dare to share your cost basis?
