During earnings season, look at guidance before profits

There’s no new narrative in U.S. stocks today, just price moves.

I’m not guessing price levels today—just looking at numbers that are already in.

S&P 500 7,805 (5-day -0.17%, Yahoo)
10-year U.S. Treasury yield 5.22% (5-day -1.14%)

Implications: VIX is at 15.27, with volatility being suppressed. At these levels, U.S. stocks can grind higher, but don’t use gains in U.S. stocks to add leverage in crypto. If VIX spikes, futures positions will be the first to get wiped out.

BTC 83530, 24h volume 1.12 billion dollars. ETH/BTC 0.02998. ETH is down 0.86% over 24h, weaker than BTC at -0.15%; the exchange rate is 0.02998. Funds are concentrating in BTC, so I’d wait for confirmation before touching altcoins.

Outlook: VIX is currently at 15.27. If it rises above 18, I’ll cut my futures position in half. I’m not going to argue with the U.S. market’s closing price.

My position: waiting. Prices haven’t picked a direction, and leverage hasn’t paid off. Opening a position now would be working for the exchange.

Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDⓈ-M / Yahoo daily (5-day change) / altme_fng / mempool_fees / defillama_chains / coingecko_trending. Missing numbers stay missing.
Are you flat and waiting for a pullback, or are you already in?

Takeaway: Track large ETF net inflows over consecutive days; treat a one-day spike as noise.
Idea: VIX<16: U.S. stocks can grind higher, so you can follow the sentiment, but reduce your futures position by one notch.
