Even a security event can be turned against you:
At a TOKEN2049 side event called Don't Get Played, the organizers were accused of pressuring attendees to install remote-access software. Someone has reportedly filed a report with the Singapore police.
In my view, these in-person security meetups are best avoided. Don’t install random software on your computer, and definitely don’t reveal your seed phrase.
Would you still dare to attend a side event at the conference? Let me know in the comments.
