🔥 ACCUMULATING BITCOIN — DAY 400

Today is day 400 of accumulating Bitcoin, everyone.
The recent cold wallet hacks were caused by hardware tampering. So, what should you do?
You can follow these steps:
1. Check whether the place you bought your wallet from is reputable. Is it connected to any of the parties recently hacked?
2. Was there a significant gap between when you bought the wallet and when the hack happened?
3. Try creating a wallet and sending a small amount to it. Leave it there for a while before sending a larger amount. For example, if you have $10k, try sending $500 first.
4. If you’re still not confident, temporarily keep your funds on an exchange or create a temporary wallet, such as MetaMask. Once you’re sure, transfer them to your cold wallet.
5. For extra peace of mind, open up your Ledger wallet and inspect it directly (be aware that this could void the warranty and damage it).
