Two bounces at $81K—BTC could revisit $87K this month

Killa, a quantitative trader focused on BTC, posted that buying interest around $81,000 is clearly strong. The price has already found support there twice, and BTC could make another run at $87,000 this month. Killa has 200,000 followers on X and has shown good timing: shorting at $74,688 in April, then switching to longs during the broad sell-off on June 5.

BTC tested $81,000 twice without breaking below it, suggesting there’s real buying support at that level and that short-term bearish momentum has largely run its course. As long as the daily chart can hold above $83,000, $87,000 is the next major supply zone. Selling pressure from those stuck in positions bought at higher prices will likely come pouring in, so a rally there would probably pull back rather than break through in one go. On the other hand, if $81,000 gives way, a large number of leveraged liquidation orders are waiting between $76,000 and $78,000, which could make the pullback much deeper. I’m leaning toward a period of consolidation and accumulation before another attempt at $87,000; chasing the price higher doesn’t look worthwhile.

Would you place a long order at $81,000, or wait for a pullback to $78,000 before getting in?
