Huang Renxun recalls his trip to China: Every restaurant he visited treated him like a “spokesperson” Oct. 14 — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recalled his experiences during a visit to China this May on an episode released on Oct. 13 by well-known podcast host Lex Fridman. He said he received a warm welcome on the streets of Beijing, drawing crowds wherever he went. Even the restaurants he visited quickly turned him into a promotional mascot. Speaking about his trip to China, Huang exclaimed: “Oh my gosh, my trip to China was absolute chaos. Did you see what happened? I went to downtown Beijing, and it instantly got incredibly lively—it was complete mayhem.” He then joked that every restaurant he ate at had made him its “spokesperson.” “They were so quick about it. It probably took only half an hour before I was all over the internet, the promotional mascot for every restaurant.” On May 15 this year, while in Beijing, Huang visited places including Nanluoguxiang and sampled local specialties such as old Beijing zhajiangmian (noodles with soybean paste) and douzhi (fermented mung bean drink). Videos and photos of his visit quickly spread across social media, attracting widespread attention. According to earlier reports, Huang tried zhajiangmian at Fangzhuanchang No. 69 Zhajiangmian restaurant in Beijing and repeatedly praised it as “delicious.” News of his visit drew a rush of customers to the restaurant, which later introduced a special meal inspired by his signature leather jacket look.

Musk: Maybe I have some Chinese ancestry!News on October 12: According to China Youth Network, American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk was recently asked at an event on an overseas social media platform what he thought of the “Chinese version of Musk” (Ma Yilong). Musk replied: “I’d like to find an opportunity to invite that person to join me onstage.” At the event, the host played Musk a video about the “Chinese version of Musk.” Musk laughed and said, “I hope that person is real. I guess there’s a good chance they aren’t.” Musk added that he does look a little Asian: “There must be someone in China who looks like me, right? After all, there are 1.4 billion people there.” He also said he’d like to invite that person to share the stage with him sometime.

The world is getting more and more surreal… 😵‍💫

AI is having babies now—and even taking maternity leave! 🤰🤖

Technology has advanced so far that it’s getting hard to tell reality from science fiction.

All I can say is: it’s not that the world is changing too fast—we’re really struggling to keep up! 😓😓

Follow me to claim a red packet. (´・ω・ʃƪ)🧧🧧🧧 The Chinese investing slang “夹头” (“head-clamped bagholder”) is a clever pun: it sounds like “价投,” short for “value investor,” while also conjuring up the scene perfectly—you decide a stock is cheap and buy it, only for it to get even cheaper. You want to act, but your head is clamped in place, so all you can do is hold on stubbornly, muttering, “Time is a friend to great companies.”

When value investing turns into being a “head-clamped bagholder,” it usually comes down to a few things colliding:

Confusing “cheap” with “down a lot.” Being undervalued doesn’t mean a stock has finished falling. Some stocks are cheap because they’re burning cash; with cigar-butt stocks, the one who gets burned in the end is you.

The backlash from buying more as the price falls. In theory, you’re lowering your average cost. In practice, you’re betting against the trend. You’ve spent all your bullets, and you’re still halfway up the mountain.

Value traps. There’s a reason something is cheap: the industry is in decline, the business model is falling apart, or management is making a mess of things. You think you have a margin of safety, but what you’re really seeing is value destruction.

Using “long-term investing” to soothe yourself over paper losses. True long-term investing means sticking with an investment because the reasoning still holds—not talking yourself into it after you’re stuck with a losing position. The two look exactly alike on the outside, but are worlds apart underneath.

Ignoring the cost of time. Capital has an opportunity cost. “I’ll break even in three years” still means you’ve lost out.

So the real dividing line isn’t whether you bought a “value stock.” It’s whether, before buying, you’ve thought through three things: Why is it cheap? What could make that discount disappear? And if it doesn’t rise for three years, can you still hold on?

In a nutshell: value investing is putting insight to work; being a “head-clamped bagholder” is the price of not understanding enough. Many people label themselves “value investors,” when really they’ve just found a respectable-sounding way to describe being stuck with a losing position.$BNB 🚀🚀🚀

Ron Baron expects SpaceX to reach $50 trillion within a decade, up from his previous estimate of $2 trillion — saying Elon Musk thinks his estimate is “way too low”
Investor Ron Baron believes SpaceX could reach a market capitalization of $20 trillion to $50 trillion within a decade, with the Starlink program and space data centers playing key roles. A decade-long rally could send shares soaring to “thousands of dollars per share”
On Tuesday, the founder of Baron Capital said at Columbia Business School’s Distinguished Speakers Series that he believes the company led by Elon Musk will trade at “thousands of dollars per share” within a decade, giving it a market capitalization of “$20 trillion, $30 trillion, $50 trillion.”
SpaceX currently has a market capitalization of about $2.063 trillion.
Baron said he advises friends to buy SpaceX shares and keep adding to their holdings every month, regardless of market fluctuations. If they wake up worried about how much they have invested, he advises: “Then call your broker and buy some more.”
Baron believes that Starlink alone could be worth “about $14 trillion to $15 trillion” in a decade, and that it is still at a “very early stage” of its growth.
He said data centers in space could be “several times the size of Starlink” because “we can’t build them on Earth anymore.” He said investors should expect returns of “at least 20 or 30 times.”
The Bull Case Widens
The bullish case is expanding
Citi analyst John Godin believes the stock could rise to $900 per share, implying a market capitalization of about $12.2 trillion, after Starship successfully carried 26 Starlink V3 satellites into orbit last month.

Last week, the company agreed to acquire nationwide 800 MHz spectrum from Grain Management to extend Starlink Mobile from satellites to the ground, potentially challenging AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ).
CNBC host Jim Cramer said last week that SpaceX could deliver returns to investors well before Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA).
Benzinga Edge rankings show that SpaceX shares have positive price trends over the short, medium, and long term.
