Nobel laureate Paul Krugman published an article titled “Elon Musk, Human Ponzi Scheme,” calling the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, a Ponzi scheme. Krugman points out that Musk’s wealth has long been built primarily on a self-fulfilling belief: investors believe in Musk’s “genius” persona and flock to buy shares in the companies he controls.
