First, a definition: A support level is a price range where prices have repeatedly stopped falling in the past. A resistance level refers to an area where prices have repeatedly failed to rise further.
Now, how to read it: When prices swing back and forth near a key level, traders on both sides can easily get shaken out. Keeping positions small may be a better approach until the direction becomes clear.
Understanding indicators isn’t hard. The hard part is sticking to your plan when emotions are running high.
