BTC spot: let’s talk pullbacks and breakouts
With spot, it’s fine to be patient, but don’t buy blindly.
Scaling in only makes sense while price remains within the structure—not just because “it’s down.”
BTC 83,239, ETH 2,502. 24h range: 82,213–84,168; volume: $1.16B.
ETH at +1.86% is outperforming BTC at +1.24%, with an exchange rate of 0.03005. This looks like risk appetite spilling over—not BTC acting alone.
For spot, I’m only waiting for pullback levels; I’m not guessing what US stocks will do. I’ll consider a breakout trade only after price gets above 84,168. Until then, existing limit orders stay put.
Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDⓈ-M / Yahoo daily (5-day change) / altme_fng / mempool_fees / defillama_chains / coingecko_trending. Missing figures are left blank.
Are you in cash waiting for a pullback, or are you already on board?

Useful info: Basis = futures price minus spot price. With a positive basis, longs are paying.
Thought: If the funding rate turns positive and the long/short ratio is >1.15, note that positioning is crowded first—don’t call for a chase.
