$AKE This move looks a bit off.

It broke straight below the lower bound of the recent 20-candle 5m range on the 15m chart, with volume surging to 2.62x and the buy/sell ratio at 0.54—clear dominance by aggressive sellers. What’s interesting, though, is that OI barely moved: it was essentially flat on the 15m timeframe and only down 0.30% on the 1h, with the notional change amounting to just a few hundred thousand dollars.

Price down while OI falls instead of rising—that’s not new shorts entering. It looks more like longs deleveraging and getting stopped out. In other words, the selling isn’t coming from a fresh wave of short positions; it’s longs rushing for the exits.

It ranks at the 84.9th percentile for anomalies across the whole pool, at #20, so this divergence isn’t trivial. 24h trading volume is just over 30M and liquidity is average. At this volume, it’s easy to push the price down—and not hard to bring it back up either.

Watch whether it can reclaim this level. If it can’t, liquidity below may continue to get swept.
