On October 13, Qualcomm said in a statement released in San Diego that a jury found Arm had violated its long-standing architecture license agreement with Qualcomm, failed to meet related commitments, and intentionally disrupted Qualcomm's business. According to ChainCatcher, Qualcomm said the verdict, combined with its earlier court win, further shows Arm intended to harm Qualcomm and its ecosystem.
Qualcomm described the outcome as a victory for innovation and competition and said it will continue developing and delivering semiconductor products, including its Oryon CPU.
