The coin price shoots up with a big bullish candle, everyone in the group is yelling “Go, go, go!” and you nervously chase in—only to end up buying at
the top. This scenario plays out every day.
Look closely at that big bullish candle that gets your heart racing: it’s what people who are already fully invested hope you’ll chase in and take it
off their hands. Chasing after a sharp, high-volume rally is essentially providing liquidity to those who were already holding.
A simple but effective rule: when you feel like chasing, make yourself wait for three candles. If the pullback comes on declining volume and stabilizes,
you’ll get a better entry; if it drops straight back down, congratulations—you’ve saved yourself an expensive lesson. The market will always
give you a second chance, but it won’t give you a second bankroll.
