Institutions hit pause again — and this time Ethereum bled more.
Per Farside data, US spot ETFs on the October 13 trading session (ET) saw $326.4M in net outflows from Bitcoin funds and $428.5M from Ethereum funds — about $755M combined in a single day. On the BTC side, GBTC led redemptions at $145.4M and BITB lost $115.6M, while BlackRock IBIT bucked the trend with a $60.3M inflow. On the ETH side, BlackRock ETHA alone accounted for $310.1M — roughly 72% of all ETH outflows.
One day does not set a trend, but when both ETF complexes bleed $755M together while prices chop sideways, it reads as de-risking, not accumulation. The next pivot could be US September CPI, due 08:30 ET Oct 14 (20:30 CST Oct 14).
Not financial advice.

One day cannot set a trend, but with both ETF complexes bleeding on the same day as crypto prices traded sideways, institutions appear to be reducing risk rather than adding to their positions. US September CPI, due at 08:30 ET on October 14 (20:30 Beijing time), could be a turning point. Not investment advice; for reference only.
