📢 Last night through this morning: Two call the bottom; Strive discloses it spent $280 million adding to its BTC holdings last week
BTC dipped below $83,000 this morning before climbing back. It’s now at $83,168.
Over the past 12 hours, the news has been split between words and actions:
① Saylor (03:28 this morning, Wu Shuo): Bitcoin has bottomed and entered a new bull market; its average annual gains over the next few years could reach 20% to 30%.
② CryptoQuant founder (19:58 last night, BlockBeats): Bitcoin’s bear market is over; prices are expected to rise or move sideways over the next one to two years.
③ Strive (reported around 20:00 last night by BlockBeats, Wu Shuo, PANews, ChainCatcher, and Foresight News): Added 3,311 BTC last week, bringing its total holdings to 32,773 BTC. Decrypt called it the company’s “largest purchase in months,” worth $280 million.
A couple of sober observations:
First, those calling the bottom are both insiders from the bullish camp—one is the founder of Strategy, the other the founder of a data platform. They’re naturally biased toward a bullish view. Listen to what they say, but pay even more attention to where they’re coming from. (My take.)
Second, another version of Saylor’s statement is that Bitcoin will “return to above $100,000” (PANews). By my calculation, from the current price of $83,168, that’s still about 20% away from $100,000—he’s calling the bottom, but his price target is still 20% higher.

Pick one: Do you believe the “bear market is over,” or will you wait for those calling the bottom to show proof they’re adding to their holdings?
