Why does the circulating supply of the same coin differ across websites?
Since Ethereum’s London upgrade in 2021, the base fee for every transaction has been burned, so ETH’s total supply sometimes increases and sometimes decreases.
Don’t judge whether a coin is cheap or expensive by its unit price alone. Its market cap, calculated by multiplying the unit price by the circulating supply, is more useful for comparison.
$BTC has a fixed maximum supply of 21 million coins, and the number already mined is gradually approaching that limit. Current price: 83210.24.
